FILTRATION

Physical purification (pre-purification) includes various steps such as waste collection, coagulation, flocculation and filtration. Filtration systems are usually used in water, sewage and reverse osmosis treatment plants. Water filtration is one of the widely used and adapted methods from nature, which are usually made in the form of two types of sand (silica) and carbon filters.

Sand filters purify water by passing through porous stone and sand structures. These filters are used to remove coarse water particles such as pebbles, sand, mud, sludge, algae, rust inside the pipes and generally remove turbidity and suspended solids.

By using activated carbon, carbon filters are able to remove color, odor and taste as well as residual chlorine from water.
